One thing we all have in common is that we all claim that we want to be “happy,” however, most of us find ourselves feeling stuck in a state of unhappiness and are doing the wrong things to get happy. The world we live in shows us that we should do whatever we need to to be “happy” however, most of these things that are advertised to us are short-term fixes which give us quick gratification and in the end, leave us feeling unhappy.
I was reflecting on something similar to this yesterday. I was thinking about how so many things have happened in the past ten years that have prepared me for who I am today. There have been ups, downs and times when I wasn’t sure who I was or who I wanted to be, and the problem with this was that I was allowing external factors to determine my self-worth and my happiness.
Once I made a big shift, everything changed for me.
The truth is, we have the power and magic within us to do, be and create anything we want in the world.
You can only step into your true power once you’ve let go of all the BS that has prevented you from being your true self.
Now if you’re feeling stuck in a place of unhappiness here are a few questions to ask yourself…
1) What kind of people do you surround yourself with? Do you feel uplifted or discouraged after spending time with them?
If you’re spending time with people who are telling you who you can’t be, should be, or are making you feel depleted physically, emotionally, or spiritually get out of there! There’s nothing worst then spending time with people who don’t understand you or are trying to pull you down. It’s also NECESSARY to find your tribe, people who lift you up and feel like a part of their family who wants to support you as you become the best version of yourself.
2) How often do you try something new and step outside of your comfort zone?
Getting out of our comfort zone and experiencing new things can be intimidating at times but gives us the opportunity to meet new people, and learn something new.
3) What are 3 activities/places/things that light you up?
That list of things you wrote down, start doing them every single week, no excuses. If you are committed to being the happiest version of yourself you NEED to do things that light you up, otherwise you’re selling yourself short of a happy life.
In order to master yourself, you need to ask yourself the right questions and make changes in your life. This may sound easier than it is and this is why I’m so thrilled to be offering a 6 Week Self Mastery Online Course that’s now available for pre-registration that will support you in your journey of personal transformation.
